Play and Learn Chinese with Mei Mei (Volumes 1-3)
These videos are a fun and easy way to start to learn Mandarin through songs, movement and repetition. The first of these videos was created in 2000 and the second and third are new this year. The first video presents numbers, body parts, actions, names, ages and greetings. The second and third videos continue the same approach but introduce basic questions and answers. Volume 2 asks and answers the questions "Who is this?" and "What are you doing?" and Volume 3 asks and answers the questions "Where is it?" and "What is this?" All three videos are suitable for all ages, but ideal for ages 3 to 8. Each video is approximately 40 minutes in length.

Mei Mei Hu is an adoptive parent herself, having adopted her daughter from Jiangxi province. She has also been a teacher in the United States for the past two decades, teaching Mandarin to children and adults.
FCC Toronto is selling these videos for $39 each, with all profits going to FCC Charitable Foundation.
Chinese Daughters
FCC Toronto is pleased to be able to offer the video Chinese Daughters, directed by Naomi Wise and produced by Dorlene Lin.
Chinese Daughters takes us into the lives of three Canadian girls adopted from China – the Singleton sisters, nine year old Emma and ten year old Samiee, and their friend, nine year old Lou Doyon. The Singleton girls live in Ontario and Lou now lives in Alberta. Both families have been members and good friends of FCC Toronto for many years.
Chinese Daughters joins Emma, Samiee and Lou as they begin to explore their own identities, celebrating their cultural heritage while confronting their abandonment.
